KPRC Local 2 Events For The Community
- Join KPRC Local 2 and First Community Credit Union for a Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center blood drive June 19-25. More than 900 donations are needed every day to serve patients in the Texas Gulf Coast region. However, less than 5 percent of the population donates blood. Blood donations can help a variety of individuals -- trauma victims, surgery patients, premature babies, individuals with anemia, cancer patients and others. Every donation helps save three lives. Donors must be at least 17 years old and 110 pounds, or 16 years old and 122 pounds with parental permission. Donors must be in good general health and have a photo I.D. The donation process takes less than an hour, with the actual donation taking five to 10 minutes. For more information, visit www.giveblood.og.

Provide specific event details, including description, date, time and location, along with suggestions on what you would like for KPRC Local 2 to do. All proposals should be submitted at least three months prior to your event. Be sure to include a contact name and number where you can be reached during business hours. KPRC Local 2’s Community Involvement Committee (CIC) will discuss your proposal and how we can best assist with your event. We will contact you once a decision has been reached regarding your proposal.
